Bailiff Charges

When your council tax account has been passed to a Bailiff company they will add charges to your council tax account for the action they take. However if they are unsuccessful in gaining entry (they cannot force entry and can only enter your home if you allow them in) they will eventually return the account the Council and these charges will be removed. However you should arrange re-payment with the council as soon as you can. Depending on your income they will accept as little as £3.30/week in repayments.
